Playcare Program
Hi, and welcome to the Crystal's Little Playcare website. This page is about
"our" playcare. I watch children from six weeks old to five years old. I also offer an after school program. Each
day I offer the children circle time, art projects, songs and stories, learning games and many other fun daily
activities. My program includes a fun monthly curriculum which focuses on the children having fun while learning. My monthly
themes are broken down into weekly themes; such as frog week, butterfly week, and pumpkin week, plus many other
weekly themes. My weekly themes have activities, songs and games to help the children learn in a fun and positive way.
My curriculum is designed to promote school readiness skills; to develop good manners, strength of character and social
skills; and to foster creative play.
My program will also teach the children to identify and comprehend numbers 1
through 20 and the alphabet. They will learn pre-math skills including recognizing basic shapes, counting, sorting, sequencing,
and more.Through circle time, music, stories, games and daily activities children will build language skills that will
help them when they begin reading.
My Goal
My goal is to see all the children having a fun day. I like seeing them make
new freinds and I enjoy teaching the children through many activities that we do throughout the day. The chidren also learn
a lot from each other, the younger children watch and learn from the older children. It's a great experience for all the children
being in a home daycare setting. The older children get to help teach the younger children all the fun things they have learned
and the younger children really enjoy the special attention they receive from the older children. The children become one
large family. They know they are loved when they are here. I want them to feel like this is their home away from home. I
will give your child the best care possible. We stick to a strict 6 to 1 adult/child ratio.
I want your child to have a great day. I want them to feel safe
and comfortable here. I will provide them with lots of love and attention along with lots of fun daily activities to
help them learn and grow. I believe all children should have a safe and happy environment where they feel "at home". I strive to
teach the children to respect themselves and their freinds, we don’t allow hitting, biting, yelling, and name calling
at any time. Children will be encouraged through positive guidance to be nice to their friends. I try to provide a daily
structured program with an emphasis on creative art. I also work with them on “getting ready for school”
through my morning program.
My program has a daily craft, songs, stories, circle time and so much
more. I have found that the children enjoy a semi - structured day. Children seem more content if they know what to expect
throughout the day, most children thrive on daily routines .
